Job Summary: APNIC is seeking a nursing assistant to carry out scheduled interventions and collaborate in the care and support of people with disabilities, facilitating their daily and social well-being. Collaborate in the planning, organization, and implementation of preventive, occupational, and leisure activities. Maintain personal hygiene of service users. Provide and administer food to residents, facilitating ingestion where required. Handle reception, distribution, and collection of meals in the service user’s room. Perform repositioning and other auxiliary services assigned according to technical training. Collaborate with the nursing service in repositioning bedridden individuals and in actions facilitating their examination and observation. Assist residents in preparation for transfer, performing accompaniment, supervision, and support tasks. Collaborate with healthcare staff in medication administration. Assist users in carrying out maintenance activities and exercises, following guidance from qualified professionals. Without replacing staff specifically hired for routine cleaning, perform cleaning and hygiene of utensils, clothing, and rooms when service circumstances require it. Support and stimulate communication among service users to promote their daily functioning and social interaction. Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding users’ medical conditions, individualized care plans, and any matters related to their privacy; always act in coordination with and under the responsibility of the professionals directly supervising them. Perform cleaning and maintenance of users’ belongings, assist in keeping rooms orderly, collect laundry, transport it to the laundry facility, manage users’ personal clothing, and make beds according to each user’s needs—following established quality criteria: using clean linens, ensuring no wrinkles or moisture, positioning correctly with special attention to body folds and other high-risk areas, while respecting user privacy. Report any incidents affecting users’ health. Observe and record in the incident log any detected behavioral and/or physical changes. **Profile:** Hold a qualification enabling practice as a nursing assistant and valid work documents. Experience working with adults with disabilities.
