Position Summary: APNIC seeks nursing assistants to intervene in daily, preventive, occupational, and leisure activities, maintaining hygiene and facilitating the lives of service users. Collaborate in the planning, organization, and implementation of preventive, occupational, and leisure activities. Maintain personal hygiene of service users. Provide and administer food to residents, facilitating intake where required. Handle reception, distribution, and collection of meals in the service user’s room. Perform repositioning and other auxiliary services assigned according to technical training. Collaborate with the nursing service in repositioning bedridden individuals and in actions facilitating their examination and observation. Assist residents in preparation for transfer, performing accompanying, monitoring, and supportive actions. Collaborate with healthcare staff in medication administration. Assist users in performing maintenance activities and exercises, following guidance from qualified professionals. Without replacing staff specifically hired for routine cleaning, perform cleaning and hygiene of utensils, clothing, and premises when service circumstances require it. Support and stimulate communication among service users to promote their daily functioning and social interaction. Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding service users’ medical conditions, individualized care plans, and any matters related to their privacy, always acting in coordination with and under the responsibility of directly supervising professionals. Perform cleaning and maintenance of users’ belongings; assist in keeping rooms orderly; collect clothing; deliver it to laundry; manage users’ personal clothing; and make beds according to each user’s needs, adhering to established quality criteria—using clean linens, avoiding wrinkles and moisture, positioning appropriately with special attention to body folds and other high-risk areas, while respecting user privacy. Report any health-related incidents affecting users. Observe and record in the incident log any behavioral and/or physical changes detected. **Profile:** Hold formal qualification to work as a nursing assistant and valid work documentation. Experience working with adults with disabilities.
