Objective
The Operations Technician supports the Operations Manager in managing, coordinating, and developing the Foundation’s projects. Ensures proper implementation of Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation policies, maintenance of quality standards, and alignment with the Foundation’s mission and values. Serves as a key point of contact for Ronald House Managers and Family Room Coordinators, fostering a positive, collaborative, and excellence-oriented work environment focused on family service. Reports to the Operations Manager of the Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation.
**Responsibilities:**
**1\. Operational Coordination:**
Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of Ronald Houses and Family Rooms, as well as other initiatives such as the home-based breast milk collection service and Hospitality à la Carte.
Ensure proper implementation of family-focused programs, guaranteeing that services and procedures comply with the Foundation’s standards.
Verify adherence to operational and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with Foundation policies and applicable regulations.
In coordination with the Marketing Department, create and coordinate a central office volunteer team; review procedures and documentation with Houses and Family Rooms.
Supervise data quality in the database (Salesforce);
Analyze impact data.
**2\. Service Quality and Family Support:**
Ensure all programs provide a welcoming, comfortable, and supportive environment for families.
Monitor the effectiveness of family-focused programs and services, evaluating their impact and identifying opportunities for improvement.
In collaboration with House Managers, Family Room Coordinators, and the Operations Manager, identify emerging family needs and propose innovative activities or services centered on family care, aligned with the Foundation’s mission.
**3\. New Projects:**
Collaborate with the Operations Manager throughout all phases of new project development.
**4\. Event Organization:**
Collaborate with the Operations Manager in organizing the Family-Centered Care meeting;
Collaborate with program Volunteer Coordinators in organizing the National Volunteer Meeting and other department-led meetings/encounters.
**Profile:**
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Communication and mediation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Sensitivity to the Foundation’s social mission and values of hospitality.
Proficiency in English for communication with the global headquarters and other Chapters.
Proactive, organized, empathetic, committed, flexible, diplomatic, trustworthy, and positively minded.
Strong emotional control, ability to work under pressure, and skill in conflict resolution.
Experience with databases and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
Willingness to travel frequently. Quarterly trips to each center (Madrid – Barcelona – Zaragoza – Valencia – Murcia – Málaga – Seville \- Palma de Mallorca \- Oviedo)
