Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a specialized team focused on digital solutions powered by ML, generative AI, Data, and Cloud, contributing to the development and enhancement of lives through technology and data & AI solutions. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate to join our team as a Senior Data Engineer. Over the past year, we have made a significant leap — evolving from measuring the performance of our projects and digital products using analytics tools to establishing a dedicated Data area with proprietary solutions and use cases across various roles, including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts. In just three years, eºmergya has become the leading national provider of conversational virtual assistants built on Cloud technology. For the past year, we have been working toward achieving the same leadership position across the entire Artificial Intelligence domain, leveraging Cloud technologies: intelligent product recommenders, customer clustering, price prediction, and, of course, advanced data analytics. Well then, we are looking for someone who wants to work on Data and Artificial Intelligence solutions, collaborating with a highly capable team to evaluate projects from perspectives you may rarely have encountered in other projects you've undertaken. This aligns with the company’s current strategic commitment to Data-focused work and solutions. **What the role entails:** Want to know what your day-to-day will look like? Here are some tasks you’ll be performing: Extract, analyze, and transform datasets — both from relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, …) and non-relational ones (MongoDB, Couchbase, Redis, BigQuery, Firestore, data files, …). **Participate in the standard phases of a data project:** from ingestion through to presentation or application of results, including exploration, extraction, enrichment, and data consistency enforcement. Proficiency and practical application primarily in technologies such as Python and Spark — not only at the programming level but also regarding optimal patterns for real-time large-scale data processing. Work with cloud infrastructures (GCP, AWS) and their Big Data technological services: Data Lake, real-time processing, process optimization and orchestration, etc. Adherence to DDD and/or SOLID design patterns. Work with Git and CI/CD tools. In your daily work, you will complement existing data solutions, but above all, you will become an integral part of a team strongly oriented toward delivering the company’s data engineering solutions. What do we offer? **Contract type:** Permanent. **Working hours:** Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling. **Senior-level salary:** between 24\.000 \- 40\.000 gross euros per year, depending on experience and professional profile.
