**About the Position**
At Ferrovial, we are seeking a **Social Security Technician** to join our HR Operations team and help us manage Social Security and payroll processes. This will be a key role to ensure labor and contribution regulations are correctly applied, information remains reliable, and employees and business areas receive agile, clear, and high-quality service.
Beyond operational responsibilities, we seek someone eager to improve how we work: a person who questions existing processes, proposes ideas, helps simplify tasks, and sees technology — including AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude — as an opportunity to make HR administration more efficient, modern, and future-oriented.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage Social Security processes, including affiliation, contributions, collection, social insurance, and communications with official agencies.
* Monitor and resolve contribution discrepancies, payment deferrals, offsets, requests, and incidents.
* Serve as the liaison with TGSS, INSS, CASIA, and other related public agencies.
* Understand the full payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with labor, tax, and Social Security regulations.
* Conduct controls, reconciliations, and reviews to ensure payroll data quality and reliability.
* Provide support and advice to employees, HR teams, and other corporate departments regarding labor administration and contributions.
* Coordinate incidents and improvements with HRIS teams, vendors, and support departments.
* Prepare reports, indicators, and analyses related to costs.
* Participate in implementation and enhancement projects for HR tools and systems.
* Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation.
* Promote the use of AI tools, data analytics, and automation to improve operational efficiency.
* Contribute to designing and implementing new digital solutions and best practices within payroll and personnel administration.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration and Management, or related fields.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll and Social Security management.
* Solid knowledge of labor regulations, affiliation, contributions, and social insurance.
* Experience managing SILTRA, Sistema RED, CASIA, CRA, and other tools associated with contribution processes.
* Proficiency in SAP HR (PA and PY modules) is mandatory.
* Experience working with Workday or other Human Resources management systems.
* Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analytics tools.
* Analytical ability and attention to detail to ensure information quality and reliability.
* Ability to interpret processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive initiatives for simplification, efficiency, and digital transformation — leveraging automation technologies, data analytics, and generative AI.
* Ability to work autonomously, with continuous improvement orientation and excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
* English level B2 (desirable).
