If you identify with our core values, we look forward to meeting you! www.telefonicatech.com**WHAT DOES OUR TEAM DO?** Within our Data Governance Unit, part of the Consulting and Analytics team, we specialize in executing Data Governance projects for enterprises, covering the entire lifecycle required to establish solid and strategic data management. From initial assessment to diagnose the current state of data governance, to the full deployment of a Data Office that drives data-driven decision-making. Our offering includes: 1. Training and Capacity Building: Additionally, we work closely with our colleagues from IoT & Big Data Tech, particularly with product managers, contributing ideas on new data and analytics applications to increase the value our products deliver to customers and launching promising initiatives to demonstrate their real impact. Our goal is to transform data into a strategic asset, ensuring its effective management and maximizing its value for businesses, while remaining technology-agnostic. **HOW WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?** Imagine a day where your technical expertise and knowledge in Data Governance come together to address strategic and operational challenges in an organization's data management. 1. Coordination and Planning o You participate in a daily meeting with the Data Office team and business representatives such as Data Owners and Data Stewards to prioritize tasks and align objectives. o You review current implementation plans for Data Governance tools, ensuring configurations and settings meet the client's specific requirements. 2. Technical and Functional Mediation o You perform adjustments and configurations in Data Governance tools, such as defining workflows or setting access policies. o You coordinate with technical and business teams to ensure adopted regulations align with data security, traceability, and audit objectives. 3. Data Quality Management o You implement quality controls, working with models and workflows that assess data consistency, completeness, and accuracy, and propose improvement plans. o You analyze control metrics and create dashboards to report data quality status to stakeholders. 4. Interaction with ETL/ELT Tools and Processes o You adjust ETL/ELT processes to ensure data flows securely and complies with defined policies. o You ensure data repositories are enabled and configured to adopt new regulations or quality standards. 5. Innovation and Evolution o You suggest improvements and new features for Data Governance tools, collaborating closely with IT and business teams. o You work on developing KPIs that measure the impact of data governance on the organization's strategy. 6. Monitoring and Analysis o You end the day by reviewing progress on project requirements fulfillment. o You document changes made and next steps, ensuring a smooth transition to the following day. This role combines strategic analysis, technical skills, and a collaborative approach, playing a key role in transforming data management into a true business enabler. **AND FOR THIS, WE BELIEVE IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAD…** **Experience** * Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Data Governance consulting or technology consulting. Experience in vertical sectors such as industrial, banking, or healthcare will be valued positively. **Education** University degree: Bachelor’s, Licentiate, or Senior Engineer, or equivalent qualifications in any engineering, computer science, or science-related field.
