Senior COBOL Analyst/Programmer At CMV Consultores, we are seeking a senior professional specialized in mainframe environments to join a stable project within the banking sector. You will participate in the development and evolution of applications related to the loans area, while also assuming coordination and technical support responsibilities for the team. **Responsibilities:** Design, develop, and evolve software solutions in COBOL, CICS, and DB2 environments\. Participate in and lead new developments linked to loans-area projects. Analyze functional requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions. Ensure quality, performance, and correct operation of developed components. Resolve high-complexity technical incidents and problems. Participate in architectural and technical design decisions. Coordinate and support onshore and offshore technical teams. Mentor less-experienced profiles by sharing knowledge and best practices. Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams. **Requirements:** More than 5 years of experience developing applications using COBOL. Solid experience with CICS and DB2\. Experience in custom application development. Functional knowledge of the banking sector. Recent or current experience in the loans area. Ability to lead and coordinate technical teams. Experience working with onshore and offshore teams. Sufficient English proficiency to operate effectively in a professional environment. Analytical ability, autonomy, and results orientation. **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in banking application evolution or transformation projects. Knowledge of the technological environment in the banking sector\. Experience participating in architectural decisions. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work teams. **Conditions:** Permanent contract. **Salary:** €40\.000–€47\.000 gross annual, depending on experience and expertise provided.
