Description
We are seeking a security guard to work at the Port of Palma in Mallorca. It is mandatory to hold a valid professional security license or a current TIP (Temporary Identity Permit). The main responsibility is to ensure protection and security within port facilities, operating metal-detection arches and radioscopic equipment for baggage screening. Passenger and crew access is also managed, manual inspections are conducted, and traveler assistance is provided—all in coordination with port authorities.
An indefinite-term contract with full-time working hours (40 hours per week) is offered. Salary follows the Private Security Collective Agreement for the Balearic Islands, including a radioscopic allowance of EUR 1.46 gross per hour. In addition, continuous training and access to refresher courses are provided, along with psychological support and a collaborative work environment.
Candidates must have flexible availability according to shift requirements, reside in Mallorca, and preferably hold a valid driver's license and own vehicle. Observational skills, self-control, and decision-making ability are highly valued.
