**RECEPTION TECHNICIAN FOR AN INTERNATIONAL PROTECTION SEEKERS’ RECEPTION CENTRE, FULL-TIME POSITION (37.5 HRS/WEEK), MONDAY TO SUNDAY, SHIFT FROM 2:30 PM TO 10:00 PM, WITH 6\*3 ROTATIONS; TEMPORARY CONTRACT UNTIL NOVEMBER; BECERREÁ, LUGO. OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO OTHER WORK CENTRES MAY BE REQUIRED.**
Reporting directly to the Centres Coordination team, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
* Support the establishment of operational routines, schedules, daily life activities, and compliance with coexistence rules outlined in the Internal Regulations.
* Observe and report any incidents affecting the centre’s dynamics and operations to the reception technical team and/or the centre’s coordination team.
* Assist in attendance tracking, material distribution, and maintenance of basic records.
* Provide group interpretation of instructions or matters related to the centre’s general operation when language barriers exist.
* Provide interpretation of instructions or matters related to individual interventions when language barriers exist.
* Collaborate in organizing workshops, activities, outings, etc.
* Accompany or mobilize residents to complete administrative procedures, formalities, or carry out daily life activities.
* Assist during dining hall, laundry, and common area maintenance shifts.
* Support, if needed, with admission or discharge procedures for residents entering or leaving the centre.
* Mediate among residents in minor coexistence conflicts that may arise; refer residents to specialized professionals on the team when specific needs or incidents fall outside the scope of this role.
* Provide emotional listening and support to residents who require it; identify and report situations involving emotional distress or risk.
* Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings to monitor the centre’s overall functioning and dynamics.
* Complete relevant shift records.
* Assist in organizing and classifying documents and files.
**Profile:**
* Higher vocational training, medium-level vocational training, or equivalent academic qualification in social or humanities disciplines with a sociosanitary focus (e.g., social education, social integration, intercultural mediation, sociocultural animation, or equivalent).
* Training and/or experience working with migrant populations.
* Training and/or experience in mediation and conflict resolution using tools aligned with a transcultural approach.
* Training and/or experience in family-based reception.
* Experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
* Valid driver’s license.
Additional Assets
* Experience in residential care settings
* Prior experience managing financial assistance programs
* Training and/or experience in direct individual and group support to groups facing particular vulnerability
* Flexible availability regarding working hours
