**Role Description:**
========================
The **Power Manager** supports the assessment, planning, and coordination of power infrastructure requirements across the land development lifecycle for data center projects.
This role provides technical expertise in power availability, grid connections, utility infrastructure, energy solutions, and regulatory requirements—supporting site selection, due diligence, and development activities. Working closely with Land Development, Construction, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams, this position helps ensure projects secure reliable, scalable, and commercially viable power solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Site Selection \& Due Diligence**
* Assess prospective sites from a power and utilities perspective, including power availability, grid capacity, and infrastructure requirements.
* Evaluate connection timelines, delivery risks, and long\-term scalability of power supply.
* Support technical due diligence activities for land acquisition and development opportunities.
* Identify technical, commercial, and regulatory risks affecting project feasibility.
**Grid Connections \& Utilities**
* Support the planning and delivery of transmission and distribution infrastructure, including substations and power cable routes.
* Coordinate with utilities, TSOs, DSOs/DNOs, consultants, and contractors.
* Monitor progress of grid connection applications, utility agreements, and project milestones.
* Support the review of utility connection agreements, tariffs, and technical requirements.
* Assist in the management of external consultants and contractors involved in power infrastructure delivery.
**Energy \& Infrastructure Solutions**
* Evaluate front\-of\-the\-meter and behind\-the\-meter power solutions.
* Assess renewable energy, battery storage, private wire, and alternative energy opportunities.
* Support energy procurement and infrastructure planning activities.
* Contribute to the development of reliable and scalable power solutions for future projects.
**Regulatory \& Stakeholder Coordination**
* Monitor regulatory developments affecting power infrastructure, utility connections, and energy markets.
* Support permitting processes and utility approvals.
* Coordinate with Land Development, Construction, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams.
* Prepare technical assessments, reports, and recommendations for project decision\-making.
**Qualifications \& Experience**
**Education**
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
**Experience**
* 6\+ years of experience in power infrastructure, utility networks, grid connections, energy projects, or land development.
* Experience working with utilities, TSOs, DSOs/DNOs, grid operators, or engineering consultants.
* Understanding of transmission and distribution systems, substations, and utility connection processes.
* Experience supporting technical due diligence and site feasibility assessments.
* Knowledge of utility regulations, permitting requirements, and electricity market frameworks.
* Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across infrastructure projects.
* Experience working across multiple European markets,
**Preferred**
* Data center, critical infrastructure, or renewable energy experience.
* Exposure to land development and site selection processes.
* Knowledge of energy storage, private wire, and alternative power solutions.
