Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a Plant Controller to ensure the reliability, consistency, and analysis of production information, thereby supporting better on-site decision-making. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in ensuring the reliability of production information and supporting decision-making. 2. Holistic plant-wide perspective through collaboration with Operations, Production, and Finance. 3. Analytical challenge to identify inconsistencies and propose process improvements. Are you motivated to work closely with operations, transform production data into reliable information, and support better on-site decision-making? Mowi, a global leader in the food industry with a presence in over 25 countries, is looking for an analytical, rigorous individual with a continuous improvement mindset to join an industrial environment where data is critical. **PLANT CONTROLLER** **What will this position offer you?** Sleep well at night! You will work morning shifts from Monday to Friday. **Stability and benefits:** You will join the company directly under an indefinite-term contract, with a competitive salary and skills-based compensation, plus private health insurance starting after 6 months. **Real operational impact:** You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability of production information, helping detect deviations, analyze performance, and provide rigorous data to support decision-making. **Holistic plant-wide perspective:** You will collaborate closely with Operations, Production, and Finance, enabling you to understand the business from a comprehensive viewpoint. **Analytical and improvement challenge:** This is not a mechanical reporting role. You will identify inconsistencies and propose improvements in processes, traceability, coding, and data utilization. **Technical development:** You will use office productivity tools, ERP systems, and production control systems; expertise in Power BI or artificial intelligence would add significant value. **What will your responsibilities be?** You will report hierarchically to the Plant Controller of the site and functionally to the Director of Operations. Your mission will be to ensure the reliability, consistency, and analysis of the company’s production information, performing daily monitoring of performance metrics, manufacturing orders, inventories, and master data. Your main responsibilities will include: * Ensuring the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of departmental management indicators, guaranteeing the quality and consistency of production data. * Performing daily performance monitoring, identifying deviations and inconsistencies, and reviewing manufacturing orders to verify coherence among consumption, production, traceability, and outcomes. * Monitoring inventory variations and analyzing their impact on performance and stock reliability. * Preparing and maintaining up-to-date periodic reports, supporting the finance department with management information, and cross-checking data across different systems to detect discrepancies. * Keeping master data, product structures, and production-related configurations up to date; participating in audits and specific analyses; and identifying opportunities for improvement in information control and utilization processes. **What will make you succeed in this position?** We seek a candidate with a university degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, or a related field. It is important that you bring 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within industrial or production environments where you have worked with plant-level information, KPIs, inventories, manufacturing orders, or management control. You must have a high level of English proficiency and be experienced using office productivity tools—especially advanced Excel. Experience with ERP systems or similar platforms such as M3, SAP, CODE IT, Bizerba, or other production management and control tools is essential. Knowledge of Power BI and artificial intelligence applied to data analysis, automated reporting, or process improvement will be considered a strong advantage. You will be an especially good fit if you are analytical, methodical, and highly detail-oriented. This position requires curiosity to understand data, the ability to question inconsistencies, and sound judgment to detect meaningful deviations. Strong communication skills with operational departments, flexibility to adapt to the day-to-day realities of the plant, and a proactive attitude toward process improvement are also essential. If you enjoy working with data while staying close to operational reality, this project could be an excellent opportunity for you. What are you waiting for—apply now?
