Description
We need a public information officer. Greet visitors and provide information about the museum, opening hours, activities, and exhibitions.
Guided tours: Lead groups through the facilities, offering explanations about the building. Audio guide management: Provide and supervise the use of audio guides available in multiple languages, ensuring their proper functioning. Coordination of educational activities: Assist in organizing and delivering workshops and activities targeted at schools and families. Ticket sales and reservation management: Manage ticket sales, group reservations, and scheduled visits, guaranteeing appropriate capacity for a comfortable experience.
* 1 year of experience in similar tasks
* Bachelor's degree
* English (advanced spoken and written)
* Catalan (advanced spoken and written)
* Competencies / knowledge: Dynamic, empathetic person with strong communication skills and organizational ability
* Temporary employment contract (6 months)
* Part-time work (13 hours \- weekly schedule)
* Gross monthly salary ranging from '550' to '553'
* Other relevant details: Position category "Heritage Information Officer", according to the Collective Agreement for Socioeducational and Cultural Leisure in Catalonia. Working days: Saturdays and Sundays (10:00–14:00 and 16:00–18:30). Holiday availability. Possibility of additional working hours. Required university degrees: History, Art History, Archaeology, Fine Arts... Catalan language level C1; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
