Job Summary: ONCE is seeking a Teacher for its Educational Resources Center in Alicante to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, provide direct support, and offer guidance to students with visual impairments, including the broader educational community. At ONCE, we are seeking a Teacher for an indefinite-term vacancy at our Educational Resources Center in Alicante. **WHAT WILL YOU DO DAILY?** * Assessment of assigned students. * Development of the proposed intervention plan. * Programming of intervention areas according to students’ needs. * Travel to students’ educational institutions. * Direct in-person support to students, both inside and outside the classroom—including recess periods. * Support for adults pursuing formal education. * Support for students enrolled in special education centers. * School-based intervention through technical support and specialized advice to all stakeholders within the educational community. * Keeping the educational community (families, schools, other teams or professionals) informed about the needs and capabilities of students with visual impairments. * Adaptation of teaching materials and resources. * Collaboration with other institutions or teams. * Guidance to classroom teachers on methodological and didactic resources, support strategies, and adaptation of resources and materials. * Family-based intervention (individual or group level—e.g., parent schools, workshops). * Introduction to information and communication technologies. * Facilitation of normalization, inclusion, and student autonomy. * Monitoring interventions carried out by other professionals with the assigned student. * Development of complementary programs and activities to direct support. * Design of resources, research, and training for internal professionals and various stakeholders within the educational community. * Serving as a specialist in the curricular network for subjects presenting particular difficulty—specifically sciences and mathematics—collaborating coordinately with professionals from other centers to advance training and advisory services for both internal and external centers and professionals. * Coordination with other professionals. **WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? (Requirements)** * A university degree related to scientific and/or mathematical fields, such as: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics; Mathematical Sciences; Sciences, Mathematics Section; Physics; Physical Sciences; Sciences, Physics Section; Chemistry; Chemical Sciences; Sciences, Chemistry Section; Computer Science; Statistical Sciences and Techniques; Economics and Business Studies, Economics General Branch, Specialization in Economic Analysis and Quantitative Economics; Architecture. Computer Engineering; Aeronautical Engineering; Industrial Engineering; Telecommunications Engineering; Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports); Forestry Engineering; Naval and Oceanic Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Agricultural Engineering; Mining Engineering; Geological Engineering; Geodetic and Cartographic Engineering; Industrial Organization Engineering. Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology; Experimental Sciences; Building Engineering; Geomatics and Topography Engineering; Agropecuary Engineering; Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering; Biomedical Engineering; Industrial Organization Engineering; Naval Architecture and Maritime Engineering. * Additionally, at least one of the following qualifications: Teaching or Pedagogy qualification. Official Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and Baccalaureate Teaching Training. * English proficiency at B1 level. * Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. This requirement is waived for ONCE-affiliated individuals. * Commitment to use the personal vehicle to meet job-related needs, with compensation stipulated in the collective agreement. * Braille knowledge. * Proficiency in technological tools and user-level Microsoft Office applications. * Minimum of two academic years’ teaching experience. Prior to hiring, submission of a negative certification from the Central Registry of Sex Offenders—or documentation proving application for such certification—is required, pursuant to Article 12, paragraph 5, of Law 26/2015 on “Amendment of the Child and Adolescent Protection System”. **WHAT ELSE DO WE VALUE?
