Job Description: **MISSION** We seek a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in Java analysis and development to join our Underwriting Solutions and Cross-Functional Activities Development team. This team ensures delivery of all projects related to policy underwriting and renewal across AXA’s various insurance lines—from product creation and pricing to policy issuance. The primary mission is to define, collaborate on, and evolve the Atria insurance product in alignment with AXA’s established roadmap, contributing both technical and functional expertise in the insurance sector and AI technologies to enhance productivity and optimize development. **MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES** * Join the product development team for our core insurance platform Atria, participating in defining and collaborating on its evolution. * Follow and contribute to executing AXA’s defined roadmap, ensuring high-quality project deliveries. * Define and collaborate on implementing new functionalities, optimizing process efficiency and development quality. * Apply AI knowledge to reduce development time and improve execution of developments, promoting technological innovation. * Design and work with microservice architectures, APIs, and batch processes in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, OpenShift). * Manage relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB) during solution development. * Participate in integrating GenAI solutions and utilizing related tools and APIs. * Contribute to defining and evolving the product across Motor, Health, Corporate, and Life insurance lines, aligning with business needs. **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE** * Experience with microservice architectures. * Minimum 5 years of Java development experience, preferably with Spring and Spring Boot. * REST JSON technologies. * Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB). * Proficiency with GenAI tools. * Experience with interfaces, APIs, and batch processes. * Knowledge of cloud architectures (Azure, Amazon, OpenShift). * Functional knowledge of Motor, Health, Corporate, and Life insurance lines. **PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE** * SISnet core insurance platform. * Agentic AI. * Other programming languages (NodeJS, .NET, Python). * Messaging middleware (AMQ, Kafka). **PROFILE** **Education:** * Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent (mandatory). **Languages:** * English: Advanced level (mandatory). **Professional Skills:** * Strategic and business-oriented mindset. * Proactivity and autonomy in technical and analytical tasks. * Teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration capability. * Effective communication skills to convey technical ideas and progress. * Orientation toward innovation and continuous improvement. **Why Join AXA Spain?** AXA Spain is one of AXA’s most relevant Talent Centers, with over 3,000 employees working on local and international projects.
