Job Summary: We are seeking an empathetic and responsible professional with a vocation for caring for and accompanying elderly people in their daily lives, ensuring high-quality care. Key Responsibilities: 1. Personal care and support in daily hygiene and nutrition. 2. Accompaniment during transfers, promoting autonomy and emotional well-being. 3. Reporting incidents to the nursing team. We are looking for an empathetic and responsible professional to join the team of a senior residence located in Sant Antoni de Vilamajor, urbanization Sant Julià d’Alfou. We seek a person with a vocation for caring for and accompanying elderly people in their daily lives, ensuring high-quality care. Main Responsibilities: • Personal care: Support with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, and daily hygiene) and assistance with feeding. • Mobility: Accompaniment during transfers and changes in posture, preventing falls and ensuring safety. • Emotional well-being: Promoting personal autonomy and providing emotional support to residents. • Communication: Observing health status and reporting incidents to the nursing team. * Experience: 1 year. Prior experience in geriatric residences is desirable. * Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Care for Dependent Persons. * Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Auxiliary Nursing Care (TCAI). * Course in sociosanitary care for dependent persons in social institutions. * Catalan (spoken: Intermediate, written: Intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: Advanced, written: Advanced) * Competencies / Knowledge: • Ability to work in a team. • Communication skills. • Prior experience in geriatric residences or day centers is desirable, as well as residence proximity to the workplace (Vallès Oriental). A valid Class 1 driving license and personal vehicle are desirable. * Vehicle availability: car * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Full-time schedule * Gross monthly salary: 1353 * Additional relevant information: • Contract type: Permanent • Working hours: 40 hours per week • Shifts: Mornings from 7:00 to 14:00. Afternoons from 14:00 to 21:00. Weekend shifts: rotating 13-hour shifts. Night shifts may be considered. • Salary: As per the National Collective Agreement, paid in 12 prorated installments, plus night-shift or holiday allowances. • Start date: Immediate.
