Financial Controller

From Grupo Planeta, we are currently seeking a **Financial Controller** for our headquarters in Barcelona. What would your main responsibilities be? * Performing monthly closing, monitoring, and analysis of the Profit and Loss Statement, as well as budgeting processes and monthly follow-up. * Aligning financial data and KPIs with the company’s strategy and business results. * Automations using Power Automate. * Implementation and development of reporting and business intelligence tools using Power BI, Copilot, and ChatGPT. * Business KPI analysis. * Ensuring timely delivery and quality of group-wide reporting processes. * Preparing ad hoc reports. * Collaborating on the preparation of various management reports for senior leadership. What would we like to see in your CV? * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Finance and Accounting; a Master’s degree is valued. * Minimum 2\-3 years of experience in economic management control departments, consulting, or auditing; project participation and management experience is highly valued. * Experience as a Data Analyst or in similar roles (projects, BI, Copilot, ChatGPT, reporting). * Proficiency in office productivity tools and agility in using ERP systems, preferably JDE. * Knowledge of business intelligence and data analysis applications, especially Power BI, Copilot, and ChatGPT.
