Job Summary: We are seeking drivers/mechanics for international transportation, with experience in transporting hazardous or food goods, and a high level of awareness regarding safety, quality, and environmental protection. Full-time position with an indefinite contract A road transport company located in Santa Perpètua de la Moguda is recruiting Drivers/Mechanics. Integral Plus is a program run by the SOC (Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya), and candidates must be unemployed. They must be registered at the SOC employment office as unemployed jobseekers (DONO – Demandants d’Ocupació No Ocupats). Three candidate profiles are recognized: \- Long-term unemployed individuals aged 30 or older with university degrees. \- Unemployed individuals aged 45 or older. \- Unemployed individuals aged 30 or older without university degrees. The selected candidate will perform international transportation tasks. **Job Responsibilities** * Drive company vehicles, complying with company policies and regulations outlined in the Driver’s Manual. * Maintain the assigned truck in good condition, especially regarding cabin cleanliness and order. * Correct use of the tachograph disk. * Report any incidents occurring during service to the direct supervisor. * Comply with current legislation, adhere to the BBS program, and follow internal company rules. * Follow established procedures. * Care for equipment by performing appropriate inspections and reporting any deficiencies found so that repairs can be carried out. * Perform administrative tasks related to documentation required for the service and documentation pertaining both to the service and to the vehicle. * Participate in the SHEQSec and CSR programs. Promote among all our partners and collaborators the set of best practices required by our policies. * Safety: Plan routes while respecting working and rest time requirements to prevent accidents. Notify supervisors of maintenance needs and malfunctions in units to avoid breakdowns and accidents. * Use PPE appropriately and request new PPE if items are defective or need replacement. * Health: Maintain proper working postures; practice rational driving during mission and itinerant trips. Respect working and rest times to prevent occupational accidents. * Environment: Dispose of generated waste in the appropriate container; use water and electricity rationally. Prevent product spills during loading and unloading. * Quality: Collaborate in the quality program, especially regarding customer service, qualified suppliers, and transport documentation. Avoid incidents that could degrade the company’s image and service quality. * Protection: Do not open facility doors to persons who cannot properly identify themselves. Safeguard sensitive information in your possession. Follow the protection plan instructions to prevent criminal acts against people, company property, and transported goods. * CSR: Collaborate and promote, wherever possible, equal opportunities among people of different genders, beliefs, etc. Do not use one’s position within the company for illicit purposes such as corruption, bribery, theft of goods, etc. **Requirements** * Minimum 2 years of experience. Experience in national and/or international transportation of hazardous goods and/or food goods. * Compulsory Secondary Education Certificate (ESO) * Catalan (Intermediate spoken, Intermediate written) * Spanish (Advanced spoken, Advanced written) * Competencies / Knowledge: Driving license for rigid or articulated vehicles. License C1\+E. ADR certification for hazardous goods classes 2, 3 and/or 9 (tank specialisation). Valid certificate. ESO qualification. High level of awareness regarding safety, quality, and environmental issues. English language proficiency is recommended. Stress tolerance. Proactive service orientation.
