A **Senior Data Engineer with a strong technical background**, specialized in complex data environments (preferably banking or financial services), capable of transforming data into actionable business insights. We seek a highly proficient profile in **Python, SQL, and ETL processes**, with high autonomy and the ability to understand business problems without constant supervision. This is not an ML role, but rather one focused on advanced analytics and decision-oriented data exploitation. **Responsibilities** * Extract, transform, and analyze data using **SQL and Python** * Design and maintain **ETL processes** * Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and business opportunities * Develop dashboards and reporting for business and product areas * Direct interaction with stakeholders to translate needs into analytical solutions * Ensure quality and consistency of the data used * Participate in the department’s analytical initiatives **Requirements** **Requirements** * 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role * Solid proficiency in **Python (pandas, numpy)** * Experience developing with **Spark, PySpark** * Advanced **SQL skills (complex queries and optimization)** * Experience building **ETLs** * Experience in complex data environments (banking/finance sector preferred) **Preferred Qualifications** * BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) * Cloud platforms (primarily AWS) * Google Cloud environments (highly valued) * Basic ML knowledge (nice to have) **Additional Information** What do we offer?
