Description
The position focuses on transportation operations for industrial laundry services in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It involves managing the logistics of clean and used clothing between the workplace facility and customers, ensuring the entire process is efficient and secure. Responsibilities cover the full transportation chain—from initial loading to final delivery—with proper documentation and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Daily tasks include loading the vehicle with trolleys of clean clothing for distribution to designated destinations. Then, clothing is unloaded at the customer’s premises, and, during the same trip, used clothing is collected for return to the facility. Delivery notes must be handed over to both the laundry supervisor and the customer, and periodic inspections of vehicle maintenance and cleanliness must be carried out.
**Other duties include monitoring trolleys:** verifying their condition, quantity, and alignment with each customer and delivery note for every delivery or collection. Soiled clothing is also weighed—both at the customer’s premises and at the facility—and these weights are recorded in the dispatch system. All this ensures traceability and efficiency of the industrial laundry service, targeted at sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, and workwear.
Valid driving license category C, Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP), and functional tachograph required. Disability certificate indicating a disability level of 33% or higher and/or officially recognized occupational disability. Experience in transportation tasks and handling cargo documentation (delivery notes) is valued. Responsibility and ability to perform loading, unloading, and inventory control tasks are also highly valued.
