**Description:** ---------------- At **Grupo NS**, we are looking for a **Cloud FinOps Architect** to join a strategic project within the **financial sector**. We seek a candidate with experience in **Cloud Native architectures and cloud cost optimization**, capable of combining **technical and economic vision** to maximize the efficiency, scalability, and profitability of cloud platforms. You will be a key figure in defining FinOps strategies, workload optimization, capacity planning, and infrastructure modernization, working closely with Architecture and Tech Lead teams. ***What will be your mission?*** Design and optimize cloud architectures focused on maximizing technical and economic efficiency, driving FinOps best practices and helping the organization evolve from traditional On\-Premise models to Cloud Native solutions. ***Key responsibilities*** * Design and review efficient Cloud Native architectures together with Tech Leads and Architecture teams. * Identify technical and economic optimization opportunities in cloud environments. * Define KPIs, metrics, and cost drivers and integrate them into FinOps tools and processes. * Perform capacity planning based on technical and functional metrics. * Analyze resource consumption and identify optimization opportunities. * Design and execute proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for: * Application modernization. * Removal of underutilized infrastructure resources. * Rightsizing and instance tuning. * Workload optimization. * Create templates, artifacts, and documentation to standardize optimization initiatives. * Design migration and optimization plans from On\-Premise to Cloud environments. * Define and promote best practices within the FinOps governance model. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive efficient and sustainable use of public cloud. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and evolution of cloud strategy. ***What are we looking for?*** A person who is: * Analytical and able to synthesize technical information. * Autonomous and results-oriented. * Capable of leadership and cross-functional influence. * Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams. * Committed to continuous improvement. * Skilled in senior-level negotiation and communication. * Able to translate technical requirements into economically efficient decisions. ***Conditions*** * Employment mode: Hybrid. * On-site presence: 2–3 days per week. * Location: Arroyo, Madrid. * Working hours: 9 hours Monday–Thursday and 7 hours on Fridays. If you are a **Cloud Architect** with **FinOps vision**, and passionate about optimizing **cloud architectures** from both technical and economic perspectives, we want to meet you! **Requirements:** --------------- **Mandatory requirements** * **University degree** in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field. * Experience as a **Cloud Architect**, **FinOps Architect**, **Cloud FinOps Architect**, or equivalent roles. * Experience in: * + Cloud Native architectures. + Design and deployment of applications in the cloud. + Optimization of workloads. On\-Premise to Cloud migrations. + Cloud cost management and optimization. * Analytical ability and orientation toward technical and economic efficiency. * Experience collaborating with **Architecture and Tech Lead teams**. * **English B2\-C1**, required for interaction with vendors and international teams. * Cloud knowledge **Experience and certifications in the following will be valued:** * AWS (particularly valued). * Microsoft Azure. * Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Professional cloud certifications will be especially valued, with particular interest in AWS.
