ACCOUNTING MANAGER (SENTMENAT)

Description

We are looking to hire an Accounting Manager for an established industrial company with a long-standing presence in the food sector and specialized in customized packaging of food products in individual formats. This is a company active both in the domestic and international markets, working with clients across various European countries. We seek a candidate with a solid foundation in accounting and taxation who can independently manage the company’s accounting operations and become a key reference within the department. Manage the company’s general accounting and ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions. Monitor and control accounting accounts. Manage monthly and annual accounting closings. Prepare and file corresponding monthly tax obligations. Handle bank reconciliations, invoicing, and control of receivables and payables. Monitor suppliers and customers from an accounting perspective. Prepare financial information and documentation for Management. Support the preparation of annual financial statements and other accounting obligations. Ensure compliance with the company’s accounting and tax procedures. Routinely use SAGE for accounting management. Maintain occasional contact with clients and international counterparts as needed. * Minimum 5 years’ experience. Prior experience in an accounting role, ideally with capability to manage the full accounting cycle. Experience in accounting closings and tax management. Experience using SAGE. Prior experience in industrial or food-sector companies. Experience working in internationally active environments. Knowledge of other languages (French). Experience independently managing a company’s accounting function. * UNIVERSITY DEGREE * Catalan (spoken advanced, written advanced) * Spanish (spoken advanced, written advanced) * English (spoken intermediate, written intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: University degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) or equivalent. Solid knowledge of general accounting and taxation. Proficiency in office software, especially Excel. Sufficient English to operate effectively in an environment with European clients. Knowledge of other languages (French). Organized, rigorous, and responsible individual. Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities. Problem-solving profile, proactive, and detail-oriented. * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary ranging from '2100' to '2900' * Additional relevant information: Annual gross salary between 30\.000 and 35\.000 €, depending on experience and profile.
