MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Coordinate all activities within the assigned zone (workshop, vessel, or dry dock) and coordinate those activities with other areas, under the supervision of the Vessel Manager, to meet agreed financial and schedule commitments.
Proactively participate in the repair project team, ensuring compliance with internal Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and environmental protection requirements.
Develop the work planning for the assigned zone.
Identify critical tasks and delivery deadlines for works within the assigned zone.
Monitor quality and progress of works.
Liaise with the vessel inspector and crew.
Attend onboard/workshop occupational health and safety coordination meetings and permit-signing meetings, assuming responsibility in this area.
Communicate and document scope changes to the Vessel Manager and Economic Controller for assessment regarding financial impact and schedule adjustments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degrees in Naval Engineering
Degrees in Industrial Engineering
Training courses to be evaluated during Phase 1 (Merit Competition) related to the position to be filled:
OHS/MA
WORKING CONDITIONS
**Entry Level:** Minimum D2
**Contract Type:** Permanent
The selected candidate shall perform duties under the working hours regime applicable to the assigned position, which may include standard working hours, shift work, or any other special working hour arrangements stipulated in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
