We are seeking, in **MADRID**, an ambitious, hands-on candidate for immediate hire: **MANAGING DIRECTOR (m/f/d)** **Main Responsibilities** * Comprehensive management of the Spanish branch * Reporting to headquarters and maintaining smooth communication with central departments * Strategic management and development of the Spanish market, with special emphasis on digital sales methods * Development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy * Development and expansion of robust nationwide sales structures * Financial management of the branch: financial statements, accounting, liquidity, taxes, etc. * Market position expansion through customer portfolio creation and growth, identification of new business opportunities, and independent management of key strategic accounts * Personnel management: recruitment, training, and continuous improvement of staff * Product range development and pricing policy enhancement to ensure and improve competitiveness * Participation in relevant industry trade fairs and exhibitions * Representation of the company before institutions, public administration, and industrial associations or organizations * Market, competitor, and key stakeholder monitoring and analysis **Experience Requirements**: * Academic qualification (Business Administration or Engineering); Master’s degree preferred * Proven, successful management experience of similar business units, including experience expanding sales teams and customer portfolios * Demonstrated experience in **B2B industrial product distribution and sales** (**tools, machinery, or consumables**), along with market knowledge and familiarity with key market players * People management experience * **Languages**: **Spanish** – native level, **English** – business proficiency We seek a candidate accustomed to successfully managing both business units and people — **proactive**, with an **innovative and creative mindset**, strong **communication skills**, a **hands-on mentality**, adept at engaging with **customers and distributors**, prepared to make **decisive decisions**, and driven by a strong **spirit of achievement**. **Our client offers a highly attractive compensation package (base salary, bonus, company car, etc.) within a strong, established international group offering excellent career development opportunities.** We look forward to your application: a.stranz@humanusconsulting.com
