Cantoria, ES, 04850 **What we are looking for** We are seeking a professional with a background in chemistry or materials engineering and experience in an industrial environment. You will be responsible for plant control and supervision of physicochemical parameters, percentage formulation, and raw materials used in the Silestone manufacturing process. Location: Cantoria, Almería (Silestone factories) Remote work: 1 day per week **Your main responsibilities** * Control, supervise, and report on physicochemical parameters, percentage formulation, and raw materials used in the Silestone manufacturing process. * Be responsible for process checks at the Silestone plant during planned color production changes. (Weights, types of raw materials, temperature, humidity, pressing, polymerization process, oven) * Participate and collaborate with area supervisors to increase productivity in their production lines. Implement improvements during planned color changes and minimize waste in the plant through control of Good Manufacturing Practices for the corresponding color. * Prepare trend reports and statistical control of key parameters in our process. * Monitor production costs against budgeted formulations. * Support monitoring of raw material consumption and perform closing/opening of orders for each production in their respective lines. * Participate and collaborate in R&D projects as assigned, including supervision of plant trials (including improvement or design of new colors), as well as validation of new raw materials. **What you need to succeed** Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering. A Master’s degree specialized in Composite Materials is desirable. Experience and required knowledge: Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Production Engineer or Technician in the chemical or construction sector. Experience in research and development or analytical laboratories is valued.
