Description

The Catalan Down Syndrome Foundation promotes and protects respect for the inherent dignity and equality of rights, freedoms, and opportunities of all individuals with Down syndrome or other intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a person to join the Inclusive Leisure Service “Quedem”, facilitating recreational activities for autonomous young people with Down syndrome and safeguarding their quality of life and community inclusion, in accordance with FCSD’s mission, vision, and values. Functions and responsibilities: • Facilitate a leisure group for autonomous young people with Down syndrome through recreational activities on weekends (Saturday or Sunday). • Provide support, accompaniment, and mediation to service users during sessions, adapting activities as necessary. • Participate in monitoring the supports outlined in the Personalized Care Plan (PCP), providing relevant information to professional reference staff. • Manage documentation, records, and communications related to the service. • Ensure ethical accompaniment and high-quality interaction with service users and their families. * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: Requirements: • Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Social Integration (mandatory). • Minimum 6–12 months’ experience in positions with similar responsibilities. • Catalan and Spanish, minimum B2 level. • Intermediate-level knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
