**Objective**
------------
ASSÍS works to improve the quality of life of homeless individuals by providing spaces for positive interaction and empowering them as protagonists in their personal transformation processes. We are an organization that, since 2001, has been committedly and innovatively delivering care, services, and socio-emotional support and accompaniment to the people we serve.
The Assís Reception Centre Association is seeking a Social Educator to join the team of its Day Centre. This space aims to provide collective services covering basic needs (showers, meals, health services, etc.), while guaranteeing shelter, protection, safety, and socio-educational accompaniment. Its main objective will be to deliver person-centred accompaniment, addressing all dimensions of each individual and fostering participation in their social promotion and vital recovery processes.
We aim to create a safe meeting point—perceived as safe—where people do not arrive at a place with "slots" but rather at a welcoming space where they can access:
A space to be and to feel ownership of
A space for relationship-building
Socio-educational and psychosocial accompaniment
A space to carry out activities and occupational proposals
A space supporting health
A space supporting socio-labour integration
Tasks and Responsibilities
Establish positive relationships with individuals served at the Day Centre to enable social accompaniment focused on empowerment and fostering personal autonomy
Provide accompaniment in identifying and expressing needs through respectful, non-intrusive support grounded in relational bonds, affection, proximity, and close coordination with other professionals working within the resource

Support the delivery of the Day Centre’s basic services
Provide accompaniment and guidance in self-organization and in establishing activities within collective and community settings
Medication management and crisis or conflict resolution
Internal coordination/referral with the multidisciplinary team and with professionals from various external resources and services
Participate in project monitoring, evaluation, and management.
Prepare reports and documentation related to the project (including database maintenance).

Contribute to programme development: specific accompaniment methodology, integration of gender perspective, impact assessment, etc.
