Job Summary: The SAP Technical Support Specialist provides technical and operational support to the SAP Systems Manager, ensuring the proper functioning of SAP processes such as IDOCs, EDI, and inventory movements, and collaborating on upgrade projects. Collaboration in upgrade and rollout projects The SAP Technical Support Specialist role is responsible for providing technical and operational support to the SAP Systems Manager for operations-related processes within the SAP environment. Its primary function is to ensure the correct operation of processes related to IDOCs, EDI messages, inventory movements, and operational support for SAP MM and SD modules, guaranteeing continuity and efficiency of daily operations. This position combines resolution of technical and operational incidents with internal user support, data control, and collaboration on upgrade, rollout, or implementation projects within the group. Additionally, it participates in monitoring and controlling logistics processes, ensuring accurate communication and information flow between systems and internal departments. * Your main responsibilities will be: IDOC Management * Monitor and manage incidents related to IDOCs. * Track and control errors in SAP processes. * Ensure correct information transmission between systems. EDI Support * Manage and supervise EDI messages. * Provide support for incidents related to EDI communications. * Collaborate in EDI process testing and validation. Inventory Management * Support inventory movements and processes within SAP. * Analyze incidents related to stock and logistics. * Maintain inventory data quality and consistency. Participation in Upgrades * Collaborate with the SAP Systems Manager on group-wide upgrade processes. * Participate in testing, validation, and post-implementation support. * Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper process functionality. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems, or related fields is required. Specific SAP training—especially in MM and SD modules—is highly valued. The position requires experience working with IDOCs in SAP environments; candidates with at least one year of relevant experience are preferred. Knowledge of EDI message management, inventory movements, and logistics processes associated with procurement and sales is essential. Prior experience in SAP technical or operational support, as well as the ability to analyze and resolve technical and operational incidents within ERP environments, is highly valued. In terms of competencies, strong analytical skills, problem-solving orientation, organizational ability, proactivity, and teamwork capability are especially valued.
