We are looking for an RF Design Engineer with experience in designing RF architectures for space and satellite applications to join our team in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) on a hybrid basis. ?? Participate in the design and development of RF transmission and reception architectures for high-complexity space systems, contributing to strategic aerospace and defense sector projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Designing detailed RF architectures for transmission and reception systems. * Participating in the design and development of RF subsystems for space applications. * Designing high-efficiency RF power amplifiers and RF circuitry. * Performing linear and nonlinear RF simulations to validate design behavior. * Executing analog and electromagnetic simulations to optimize performance and minimize technical risks. * Analyzing test results and validating compliance with functional and performance requirements. * Using laboratory instrumentation for RF prototype characterization and validation. * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (electronics, systems, space) throughout all project phases. ?? This role is for you if you have: * A degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent qualification. * At least 5 years of experience designing RF transmission and reception architectures across various frequency bands. * Experience in mixed analog/digital design. * Knowledge of RF power amplifier design. * Experience working with GaN, GaAs, LDMOS technologies and high-efficiency architectures. * Knowledge of compact RF circuit design and System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions. * Experience in linear and nonlinear RF component simulation using ADS or equivalent tools. * Experience in analog simulation using LTspice or similar tools. * Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation: spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and scalar/vector signal generators. * Advanced English language proficiency. ? Especially valuable experience includes: * Experience in signal processing and satellite communication architectures. * System-oriented design for embedded space systems. * Familiarity with ECSS space standards or equivalent norms. * Experience with space-grade components: VCOs, PLLs, and antennas. * Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation using CST Studio Suite or Ansys HFSS.
