Job Summary: We are seeking a maintenance professional to perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, diagnose faults in complex systems, and implement continuous improvement. Hydro Aluminium Metal is a leading supplier of extrusion ingots, rolling ingots, foundry alloys, wire rods, and high-purity aluminum, with a global production network employing approximately 5,000 people. With primary metal production facilities in Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and Qatar, and recycling facilities across Europe and the U.S., two-thirds of our primary aluminum production relies on renewable energy. **What We Offer** -------------------- * Opportunity to join a growing company, with roles available both at the Azuqueca de Henares plant and the future Torija plant (initial training will take place in Azuqueca, with relocation scheduled to Torija in Q2 or Q3 of 2026\). * Monthly schedule Monday to Friday: + 3 weeks from 7:00 to 15:00. + 1 week from 15:00 to 23:00. * Rotating on-call duties (including weekends): + 3:00 to 7:00 during the week assigned to the morning shift. + 23:00 to 3:00 during the week assigned to the afternoon shift. * Compensation for on-call hours worked via equivalent time off during regular working hours. * Collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement and mutual respect. **Your Responsibilities** ------------- * Proactively perform corrective and preventive maintenance. * Diagnose and resolve faults in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, PLC, HMI, and other systems. * Use the GMAO system to manage notifications, work orders, and spare parts. * Investigate root causes of failures with a focus on continuous improvement. * Participate in drafting and updating technical procedures. * Promote and comply with safety standards in all tasks. **What Will Make You Successful?** ---------------------------- * Higher vocational education degree in electromechanics. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial environments. * Solid technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. * Familiarity with maintenance systems oriented toward continuous improvement and use of GMAOs. * Proactive attitude, autonomy in work, and strong communication skills for interacting with internal customers and suppliers. * Availability to work rotating on-call shifts. * Ability to work effectively in teams and contribute to a positive, respectful environment.
