Achieve extraordinary things by joining our team and make a difference in your professional development, in your community, and around the world! **Job Posting: Maintenance Operator** **Location:** Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona) **Department:** Maintenance **Reports to:** Maintenance Manager **Job Mission** Ensure execution of the company’s preventive and corrective maintenance plan for facilities and machinery, guaranteeing uninterrupted production processes and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities. * Resolve mechanical, electrical, or other malfunctions and incidents affecting machinery and facilities. * Identify and report required spare parts for repairs. * Document and report all maintenance actions taken for subsequent analysis. * Comply with applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental Management standards for the role. **Requirements** * **Education:** A Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in a technical specialty is preferred. * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in industrial maintenance. * **Other:** Preferred qualifications include forklift operator license, electric/manual pallet truck certification, aerial work platform certification, and working-at-heights certification. * **Desired Knowledge:** * + Industrial machinery and production systems. + Office software and maintenance management software. **Competencies** * Commitment to the organization. * Attention to order and quality. * Initiative and results orientation. * Teamwork and cooperation. **Work Schedule** This position operates under the **“Fifth Shift” system**, ensuring continuous 24/7 maintenance coverage, seven days per week. This system consists of a **mandatory rotating shift cycle**, where each individual alternates among morning, afternoon, and night shifts, including both 8- and 12-hour workdays. The full cycle combines these shifts in a planned manner, and **each month**, upon completion of the cycle, employees enjoy **an extended rest period of 10 to 12 consecutive days**, inclusive of annual vacation days and public holidays. This system ensures operational continuity while supporting work-life balance through extended rest periods. **Due to the nature of this role, these rest periods will never coincide with scheduled maintenance shutdowns**, thereby guaranteeing team availability during critical periods.
