Job Summary: We are seeking a Machine Assistant to monitor dryer operation, register coils, manage incidents, maintain order, propose improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance. We require the incorporation of a **Machine Assistant** into our team. **The functions and responsibilities include:** * Continuously monitor expected dryer operation from the DCS system and perform required inspection rounds. * Register and inspect coils produced according to the manufacturing schedule and transfer them to the rewinder line. * Collect information and report incidents occurring during the shift, ensuring accurate message transmission to the relief team and other departments. * Follow established protocols for startup and shutdown of the paper machine. * Assist in paper threading during startup or after paper breakage. * Maintain cleanliness and order at the workstation and facilities. * Propose improvements to anticipate problems. * Properly manage waste generated at the workstation. * Comply with quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety (OHS) policies. * Ensure proper handover and information transfer to the next shift. And, in general, all similar duties assigned. **If your profile matches what we are looking for, what do we offer you at ALIER, S.A.?** * Stable employment in an established and expanding company. * **Working hours:** Rotating shifts: 2 morning shifts (6 a.m. to 2 p.m.), 2 afternoon shifts (2 p.m. to 10 p.m.), 2 night shifts (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.), and 4 days off. During summer period: 6 rotating days \+ 2 days off. * **Remuneration:** Approx. €43,000 gross per year. * **Academic qualifications:** Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Industrial Automation and Robotics, Electromechanics, or equivalent. * **Professional experience:** Minimum 3 years of industrial experience, preferably on rotating shifts. * **Personal attributes:** Flexible individual with strong learning ability, tolerance to pressure, good communication skills, initiative, analytical thinking, and ability to work in a team.
