Description

**INTERIOR DESIGNER · RENOVATION TECHNICIAN** *Barcelona — The Old Left Side of Eixample* At Memar Interiors, the licensed franchisee of middö Reformas, we are seeking to hire a professional to accompany our clients from the final definition of their project through to the handover of the renovation. We seek an interior design profile who is organized, decisive, and highly client-oriented, with hands-on experience in renovations and the ability to coordinate design, suppliers, construction work, and project monitoring. The position will be based at our showroom located in Eixample. . YOUR MISSION You will take over the project once the commercial phase is closed. You will receive the information, preliminary design, and decisions made during the sales process, and you will be responsible for transforming\-them into a finalized, viable, and execution-ready project, accompanying the client until completion. * Finalize the project with the client: layout, materials, finishes, and solutions. * Review the project, identify potential incompatibilities, underdefined aspects, or issues requiring resolution before commencement. * Develop necessary graphical documentation using floor plans \+ 3D / rendering / AI. * Lead the initial Kick\-Off meeting with the client, site manager, and subcontractors to review the project, resolve questions, and clearly define the starting point. * Coordinate with the site manager and various trades throughout execution. * Serve as the client’s primary contact throughout the entire process, accompanying\-them, informing\-them, and anticipating\-their needs. * Organize and document all project decisions: materials, dimensions, finishes, installations, lighting, etc. * Prepare and manage required project documentation, ensuring contracts, budgets, amendments, purchase orders, and all other documentation are properly formalized and up-to-date. * Manage suppliers, purchase orders, pricing, and delivery timelines. * Prepare final budgets, extras, and modifications for proper approval and invoicing. * Conduct follow-up site visits and accompany the project through to final handover. . IN SHORT We seek a candidate who combines interior design expertise, project management skills, and a strong service orientation and commitment to client satisfaction: someone capable of transforming a well-sold project into an equally positive client experience throughout its entire lifecycle. We are not simply looking for someone who draws plans nor for someone who manages construction alone. We seek the person who takes over the project post-sale, develops it, coordinates it, and becomes the client’s trusted point of reference until its completion. . MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS * Proven professional background in interior design and renovations. * Demonstrable experience and familiarity with on-site work. * Proficiency in floor planning and 3D / rendering / AI visualization. We do not require expertise in any specific software: what matters is your ability to visually represent a project and your fluency with current tools. * Commercial mindset and client orientation: strong communication skills, empathy, sound judgment, ability to build trust, and attention to the finest detail. * Experience coordinating professionals, suppliers, and various stakeholders. * Ability to work with budgets, materials, measurements, purchase orders, and documentation. * Organization, planning, and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, proactively identifying and addressing potential problems and needs before they impact the client or execution. * Fluent use of digital tools and openness to new methodologies. * Personal mobility via own vehicle to travel across Barcelona and the metropolitan area (car, motorcycle, electric bicycle, or electric scooter). * Self-motivated individual with initiative and decision-making ability—capable of progressing independently while also collaborating effectively with the rest of the team. . PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Ownership of tablet, laser measuring tool, and other on-site work equipment. * Existing network of contacts among tradespeople, suppliers, or collaborators. * Specific experience in kitchen and bathroom renovations. * Curiosity and knowledge of new digital tools applied to interior design and renovations. * Languages: Strong conversational proficiency in Catalan and English is especially valued. * Initiative to contribute new ideas, suppliers, and improvements to our processes. . CONDITIONS Barcelona — Upcoming opening of a showroom in The Old Left Side of Eixample Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday morning availability when client needs require it. Stable, direct employment within a growing project. Salary according to collective agreement or value added, plus an attractive incentive system linked to successful project management. Immediate start. . DO YOU ENJOY THIS WORK? If you enjoy combining design, client interaction, and on-site work; if you like keeping projects under control; and if you’re the type of person who prefers to anticipate problems before the client even notices them… If, additionally, you enjoy accompanying people through an important project for them and take satisfaction in seeing an idea become a real renovation… We want to meet you. Send your CV and portfolio to mmedina@red.middo.es . . . Salary: €20\.000,00\-€30\.000,00 per year Application questions: * Do you have your own vehicle (car, motorcycle, electric scooter, or electric bicycle)? * Are you immediately available to work at our showroom in The Old Left Side of Eixample, Monday to Friday, and occasionally on Saturday mornings? Work location: On-site employment
