Fanox, part of Wabtec Corporation, is located in Derio, Spain, and designs and manufactures relays for medium-voltage applications. You will be part of the R&D team and work closely with firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, and the production team. How will you make a difference? As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing both digital and analog hardware for Fanox products. You will also collaborate on maintaining existing product hardware and supporting the factory. What will a typical day look like for you? * Designing electronic schematics and PCBs and specifying components. * Validating electronic designs. * Conducting and passing regulatory tests, both in internal and external laboratories (EMC, environmental, vibration, etc.). * Completing documentation related to designs. * Maintaining equipment and providing factory support. What do we want to know about you? * Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field * More than 4 years of experience in a similar role * Specific knowledge in designing digital and analog electronic circuits, both at schematic and printed circuit board level (Altium knowledge is a plus) * Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility, environmental, and vibration testing. Experience working with external laboratories * Fluency in English and Spanish * Ability to work in a team * Organizational skills * Analytical thinking Availability to travel abroad to external laboratories *Legal authorization to work in the EU is required.
