Support the administration in developing thematic maps. **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consulting, and technical assistance services in agriculture, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Forestry Engineer to support the Classification Jury of Communal Forests of the Principality of Asturias. **Work Location** -------------------- * Asturias Region Address: Oviedo **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Apply advanced GIS knowledge to various project areas. * Prepare environmental or forestry reports and documentation. * Understand the concept of Communal Forests and their integration into forest policy activities. * Support the administration in developing thematic maps and related cartographic products. * Conduct field visits, including data verification, inventory, document collection, or attendance at meetings. * Communicate and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, quality, and environmental regulations associated with the support services provided. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by completing evaluation tests and/or attaching the necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request, at any time during the process, supporting documents for the information declared in the application, as well as to require additional information from the CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for this vacancy. ### **Education** #### **Qualification** * Forestry Engineering degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering with an Official Master’s Degree in Forestry Engineering (MECES Level 3) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Prior Experience** * At least 2 years of professional experience providing assistance or undertaking assignments for public administration ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Functional capacity to perform fieldwork, possibly involving steep slopes or densely wooded areas. * Valid Spanish driving license type B, currently in force **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Prior Experience** * From 6 months to 2 years of professional experience drafting forestry documentation of any kind: wildfires, publicly useful forests, forest management plans, subsidies, etc. * From 2 to 3 years of professional experience in assignments or assistance for public administration related to forest management ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Certified training in Geographic Information Systems exceeding 30 hours * Certifiable training in communication, outreach, teaching, adult education, or any other area related to knowledge transfer, exceeding 15 hours **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 12 months, linked to the execution of the assignment detailed in the announcement under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan or funded by European Union funds. + Full-time working schedule + Immediate incorporation anticipated + Salary according to collective agreement Applications will be accepted from today, 15/06/2026, until 22/06/2026 at 23:59 (Peninsular Time).
