Our primary focus lies in the **Rueda Denomination of Origin**, where we cultivate most of our hectares under **organic farming** principles, demonstrating a strong commitment to vineyard care and product quality. **What Are We Looking For?** We seek to hire a **Field Foreman** to join our Viticulture team and serve as the **day-to-day operational reference in the vineyard**. This person will play a key role in supervising, organizing, and coordinating fieldwork, collaborating closely with the Technical Director’s Assistant. The position operates across multiple locations and Denominations of Origin; therefore, **willingness and availability to travel regularly and continuously supervise various vineyards** is required. The job is **100% field-based**, requiring daily presence in the vineyard, with direct involvement in supervision, monitoring, and organization of tasks being essential. We seek a candidate with hands-on field experience, sound judgment, and the ability to interpret vineyard conditions and anticipate its needs. A profile that not only executes tasks but also understands the vineyard and actively contributes to its proper management throughout the year. This position does not require routine operation of agricultural machinery, as this function is covered by specialized profiles within the team. **What Will Be Your Mission?** Supervise, organize, and coordinate the execution of agricultural tasks in the vineyard, ensuring all work is carried out correctly according to established technical guidelines. You will act as the liaison between Technical Management and the field, conveying technical criteria to daily operations and ensuring rigorous, efficient, and standards-aligned execution consistent with the winery’s requirements. Your role entails **continuous presence in the field**, supervising different plots and adapting work organization based on vineyard condition and specific zone requirements. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Supervision of Agricultural Tasks** o Supervise correct execution of vineyard tasks (pruning, leaf removal, shoot topping, tying, structure maintenance, etc.) o Coordinate and supervise field crews (primarily outsourced) o Ensure quality, pace, and timely completion of tasks * **Fieldwork Organization** o Plan and organize daily work across different plots o Assign tasks among teams oo Guarantee adherence to planning oo Ensure availability of tools, materials, and necessary resources * **Vineyard Monitoring** o Conduct regular inspections across various plots oo Identify agronomic, sanitary, or structural issues oo Anticipate potential problems (diseases, vegetative development, intervention needs), especially in organic environments oo Provide continuous reporting to Technical Management * **Irrigation and Fertigation** o Carry out fertigation in vineyards oo Detect and resolve incidents (leaks, breakdowns, etc.) o Ensure proper system functionality * **Machinery** o Supervise correct machinery use by operators oo Coordinate basic maintenance needs with the relevant team * **Harvest** o Supervise harvest activities in the field oo Monitor harvesting pace and quality oo Coordinate with the winery oo Record grape weights in the Regulatory Council’s technological platform (C.R.D.O.
