The position is based in a food retail environment, focused on deli counter operations. Key responsibilities include deboning, trimming, and precise cutting of various types of meat using knife techniques, as well as assembling and presenting the deli counter for sale. A core aspect of the role is direct customer interaction, delivering professional service and performing suggestive selling to promote available products. Staff are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all tools, equipment, and assigned work areas, strictly complying with all current food safety regulations. Such compliance is essential to ensure product quality and safety for the end consumer. The role requires organization, attention to detail, and consistent adherence to established food-handling procedures. The work environment is dynamic, involving frequent public interaction, thus demanding strong communication skills and a proactive attitude. Tasks are performed following company protocols to ensure operational efficiency and continuous customer satisfaction. The gross monthly salary offered is €1,673. The employment contract is a substitution contract, with potential for permanent integration into the workforce depending on performance and company needs. Start date is immediate. Working hours are from Monday to Saturday, with Sundays off. There is a rotating schedule: one Saturday every fifteen days is worked in split shifts, and one Sunday every fifteen days is also worked, compensated by a rotating weekday day off. A minimum of six months’ verifiable experience working at a deli counter is required. A valid and up-to-date food handler’s certificate is mandatory.
