The cashier position entails a key responsibility in point-of-sale management, directly serving customers and ensuring the smooth flow of daily commercial operations. Key duties include accurately processing payments—whether in cash or by card—and properly managing the cash register to ensure the final balance matches the day's sales. Additionally, the professional is responsible for registering scanned items, supporting the maintenance of an accurate inventory and an up-to-date pricing system in the store's database. Beyond checkout duties, the role includes complementary logistical support tasks in the sales area, such as receiving and performing initial unpacking of goods delivered by suppliers. Subsequently, the professional participates in preparing products for public display, including attaching barcode labels and clearly visible price tags—thereby facilitating the purchasing process for the end customer. This variety of tasks requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to alternate between customer-facing responsibilities and back\-office work. Performance in this position directly contributes to customer experience and the operational efficiency of the retail establishment. Proactivity in reporting technical issues with cash register equipment and collaboration with the restocking team to maintain an orderly and well-stocked shelf are highly valued. In short, we seek a meticulous individual with strong service orientation and the ability to integrate into a dynamic, team-oriented work environment. The working schedule is full-time, organized on a rotating shift basis. Work is scheduled on an alternating weekly pattern: one full week is assigned to the morning shift, and the following week to the afternoon shift. During weeks assigned to the afternoon shift, the professional will have Saturdays and Sundays off as weekly rest days, thus promoting a healthy work-life balance. Prior experience operating a cash register in a retail setting is required, preferably within the food sector. Candidates must either own a personal vehicle or reside in the San Bartolomé area to ensure punctuality and consistent attendance. Experience in product restocking is considered a plus; however, if such experience is lacking, necessary training for the position will be provided.
