To be a Foot Locker Assistant Store Manager, you must serve as the store manager’s right hand, supporting them in building a diverse team capable of fueling a high-energy atmosphere. You will help inspire the team to deliver a first-class customer experience, forging deep and lasting connections with our customers and communities—in-store and online. Behind the scenes, you’ll assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, such as visual merchandising and inventory reduction. The Assistant Store Manager role is challenging and rewarding, contributing directly to Foot Locker’s continued success. Responsibilities: *As a Foot Locker Assistant Store Manager, you will:* * Foster a diverse and energetic environment. * Contribute to the team’s daily goals. * Stay informed about our product range. * Drive an exceptional omnichannel customer experience that fosters customer loyalty. * Assist in implementing visual merchandising guidelines to improve standards and increase commercial effectiveness. * Collaborate with the team to implement new initiatives in-store. * Support the Store Manager in managing inventory reduction, payroll, and controllable costs. * Back-of-house organization includes daily restocking, inventory control, and shipments. * Provide a safe environment for team members and customers. * Exceed expectations in handling returns and payment processes. * Support the store manager in recruiting, training, and developing a large, diverse team. * Act as Store Manager substitute Qualifications: *You have:* Supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment. * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. * Solid analytical skills and business acumen. * Adequate understanding of English and local languages. * Passion for fashion and sneakers. *You are:* Energetic, dynamic, and ready to lead a team. * Willing to lead and take on greater responsibilities. * Practical and comfortable assuming responsibility and taking initiative. * A team player who can contribute to creating an inclusive environment. * Practical and comfortable assuming responsibilities. * A decisive problem solver. * Customer service- and customer-oriented. * Required to stand for most of your shift, as well as kneel, bend, climb stairs, use ladders, reach, pull, and lift weights between 2 and 14 kg. * Evening, weekend, and holiday work is required. * Occasional local travel is required. * Noise level in the store will be minimal.
