Accountant

At Tecmelec, we are looking for an **Accountant** to join our finance team and work closely with the Finance Manager and their team. If you have a solid accounting background, appreciate order and accuracy, and wish to grow within a stable industrial company, this position is for you. **What will you do?** * Daily bookkeeping and bank reconciliations. * Management of **accounts payable**: recording and booking supplier invoices, monitoring due dates, and performing reconciliations. * Support in preparing periodic financial reports and statements. * **Support in accounting entries and monthly/annual closings**: bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, accruals, and adjustments. * **Support in reviewing and reconciling payroll** with the HR department / external advisory firm. * **Support in preparing and filing taxes** (VAT, withholding taxes, etc.) together with the Finance Director and/or external advisory firm. **What are we looking for?** * Degree in **Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, Finance, or Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) in Administration and Finance**, with **demonstrable accounting knowledge**. * Knowledge of **Spanish financial accounting and taxation**. * Proficiency in **Excel** and experience in **data analysis**. * An **organized, methodical, detail-oriented individual**, with strong teamwork skills and a continuous improvement mindset. **What do we offer?** * **Internal promotion** and a professional development plan, including **training in financial statement analysis, design of optimal procedures, financial and business management control.** * Join a **well-established company in the sector, currently expanding with high growth expectations.** * **Competitive remuneration**, commensurate with your experience and expertise. * **Strong potential for professional growth**, with opportunities to advance into roles of greater responsibility within finance and management control.
