The warehouse assistant position is fundamental within the food industry, as it is responsible for the proper handling of goods to ensure operational efficiency. Key activities focus on loading and unloading trucks—tasks requiring physical effort and constant attention. Additionally, products must be correctly placed within the warehouse, maintaining strict order to facilitate location and inventory management. The role involves handling various types of food products, which must be managed in accordance with quality and hygiene standards. This position also entails order preparation and collaboration on internal logistics tasks. Adherence to safety protocols is essential to prevent accidents and damage to goods. Work takes place in a dynamic environment where team coordination is critical. The ultimate objective is to ensure that the entire flow of goods—from receipt through dispatch—is executed accurately and punctually. This process is vital to the company’s supply chain, as any error may impact distribution. The role demands physical stamina and the ability to adapt to variable schedules. In summary, this is a key operational role supporting the food company’s logistics activities. Salary is set according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement for the sector. The schedule is rotating: morning shifts run Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 14:15, with Saturday work as needed to complete weekly hours; afternoon shifts run Monday to Friday from 14:15 to 22:15\. Two Saturdays per month are regularly scheduled. This is a permanent position, thus offering employment continuity to the worker within the company. At least one year of experience in a similar role is required, preferably within the food sector. Full-time availability and possession of a personal vehicle—or alternative means of transportation to reach the workplace—is mandatory. Prior experience operating basic warehouse machinery and attention to detail to meet quality standards will be considered advantageous. No specific academic qualifications are required.
