We are seeking a committed, responsible individual eager to learn, to join our Storage Facility on El Hierro.
This is a multiskilled position offering you the opportunity to gain insight into and participate across various operational, logistics, and maintenance areas, thereby contributing to the proper functioning of a facility essential for the island’s energy supply.
**What will be your main responsibilities?**

* Perform routine maintenance tasks assigned by the responsible person (painting, cleaning, minor repairs).
* Assist in pre-unloading preparations, inspection of gauges during unloading, discharge pressure monitoring, as well as tank measurements and safety checks.
* Monitor daily tank and meter readings.
* Monitor the condition of equipment, materials, and vehicles. Inspect valves and internal piping. Supervise external piping.
* Return products due to contamination, following the established procedure and under the defined Health and Safety measures.
* Monitor pipeline expansion.
* Supervise and monitor the oil-water separator basin.
* Drain tanks, following the established procedure and under the defined Health and Safety measures.
* Carry out all types of operations at the bottling plant, including filling, safety and quality checks of filling, bottle washing, palletizing and depalletizing. Forklift operations, manual loading/unloading of bottles onto agents, transfer, degassing, and valve removal from various bottle types, etc., applying the plant’s specific procedures.
* Perform additive blending and tanker truck loading, applying the dedicated loading bay work and safety procedures.
* Participate, within your operational level, in pump room functionality verifications at the Facility. You will also be part of the intervention team.
* Act as an operator during ship unloading, performing all tasks assigned at your operational level.
* Analyze received products and conduct periodic laboratory tests.
* Perform minor preventive and corrective maintenance tasks at the facility, supervised by the responsible person and/or the Facility Manager.
* Carry out other assigned tasks—such as vehicle washing, weed removal from bunds, garden maintenance, etc.—always adapted to your operational level yet maintaining versatility.
* Perform basic maintenance tasks, as required by service needs, such as cleaning, painting, lubrication, preventive/corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment, among others.
* Perform weeding and brush-clearing tasks, as required by service needs.
* Carry out administrative tasks including filing, stock control, and handling incoming/outgoing mail.
* Execute daily SAP processes: tanker loading, invoicing, delivery confirmation, tank levels, and tank closures.
* Safety Orientation. Manage and rigorously and efficiently implement safety measures related to your work, demonstrating high responsibility and discipline in this area.
