Electromechanic (Forklift)

Description

This position focuses on the comprehensive maintenance and repair of forklifts and other material handling equipment used in industrial and logistics environments. The professional will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of these vehicles, which is essential for the operational continuity of warehouses, distribution centers, and production plants. Daily activities include performing accurate diagnostics of mechanical and electrical failures, executing repairs on hydraulic systems, transmission systems, and braking systems, as well as resolving issues in the electrical circuit, starting system, and forklift controls. Additionally, preventive maintenance tasks will be carried out according to established schedules, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment service life. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently, always adhering to established protocols to prevent accidents and property damage. The work environment is dynamic and may involve adapting to various forklift types and brands, fostering continuous learning about the latest technologies in material handling equipment. The mechanic's direct contribution ensures smooth internal logistics operations, positively impacting the company's overall productivity. The company offers an indefinite-term employment contract from the start of the employment relationship, with a fixed schedule from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The remuneration package is competitive within the sector and includes flexible weekend availability to support the employee's work-life balance. A Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle qualification in electromechanics or a related field is required, along with a minimum of two years of demonstrable experience in electromechanics—whether in passenger vehicles, industrial machinery, or heavy transport vehicles. Solid and practical knowledge of electromechanical adjustments, fault diagnosis, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems is essential.
