Job Description At **Into Action**, a financial and management control consulting firm based in Barcelona, we are looking to hire a **Junior Accountant / Accounting Technician** to support the accounting and administrative areas of our clients. We are a growing company specialized in helping SMEs, professional firms, and expanding businesses maintain organized accounting, clear financial information, and better decision-making tools. Our work combines accounting, financial reporting, management control, data analysis, and process automation. This position is designed for someone with an accounting foundation, strong learning capacity, and motivation to develop professionally within the financial field. Initially, the role will focus on day-to-day accounting tasks, with the possibility of progressively assuming responsibilities related to financial reporting, management control, KPI monitoring, and process improvement. Main Responsibilities The selected candidate will support tasks such as: * Recording supplier and customer invoices. * Posting journal entries. * Bank reconciliations. * Reviewing customer, supplier, and suspense accounts. * Supporting monthly or quarterly accounting closings. * Preparing and reviewing VAT-related information and other tax forms. * Document organization and control. * Supporting basic treasury tasks. * Preparing simple reports for clients. * Using accounting software and digital management tools. * Supporting the team with internal tasks and improvement projects. Career Progression This role is designed for someone who wishes to grow within the financial field. During the first months, the goal will be to consolidate accounting knowledge, understand Into Action’s working methodology, and gain autonomy in daily tasks. As the candidate progresses, they may participate in higher-value tasks such as: * Financial reporting. * Monitoring margins, costs, and results. * Developing and tracking financial KPIs. * Supporting management control reports. * Analyzing accounting and financial information. * Participating in internal automation projects. * Improving administrative and accounting processes. Requirements We are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements: * Training in a Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Administration and Finance, or a university student in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, or similar, eligible for internships. * Minimum 1 year of accounting experience for junior profiles; for university students undertaking internships, prior experience is not required. * Knowledge of general accounting. * Experience or familiarity with accounting software. We use Holded, although experience with other programs is also valued. * Advanced Excel skills. * Knowledge of Microsoft 365 or similar tools. * Catalan and Spanish. * Organizational ability, rigor, and attention to detail. * Responsibility, discretion, and confidentiality when handling client information. Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with Holded. * Experience with other accounting software. * Basic knowledge of Power BI or reporting tools. * Interest in management control and financial analysis. * Interest in process automation. * Knowledge or experience using Artificial Intelligence tools.
