Optimize reinsurance processes * Emilio Vargas Street 6, MADRID, ES, 28043 * FINANCE * 14286 * Elena Angulo * 30/03/2026 * 14/01/2026 **Job Description** -------------------------- **MISSION:** Reporting to the Reinsurance Back Office Manager, your responsibility will be to contribute to the accurate reflection of all reinsurance operations (assumed/ceded/retroceded) of the entity, in accordance with the various contracts held by AXA España entities, and to ensure that all such operations are correctly reflected in the entity's systems (Host/SAP). In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring outstanding balances, controlling their aging, collecting overdue balances, reconciling with various reinsurers, and performing recurring balance confirmation processes for significant contracts. Finally, you will review balance evolution with the Reinsurance Front-Office team to ensure contract renewals are executed under expected conditions. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Ensure information flows and calculations with various reinsurers are carried out in accordance with the terms of the respective contracts. * Ensure reinsurance processes are executed correctly and closing calendar deadlines are met, to provide balance and transaction information as required locally and at group level. * Monitor outstanding receivable/payable balances with various reinsurers, analyze debt aging, conduct periodic reconciliations, and confirm balances recurrently. * Optimize current reinsurance processes, reducing manual tasks wherever possible and producing balance control reports. * Review balances and transactions across various entities with the Reinsurance Front Office team to ensure contract renewal operations are conducted under optimal conditions. * Ensure reinsurance data is correctly posted into the entity's accounting systems to support intercompany reconciliation processes and outstanding balance control. **PROFILE:** * Minimum 1 year of experience in Reinsurance Back Office departments. * Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science and/or Business Administration and Management (ADE). * Knowledge of Insurance Accounting under both local standards and IFRS. * Experience handling databases (Excel, Access, SAS…) and programming languages. * Intermediate level of English. * Strong organizational skills. * Analytical ability and teamwork capability. * Goal-oriented mindset. * Proactivity. **Why Join AXA Spain?** AXA Spain is one of the most relevant Talent Centers for AXA, with over 3,000 employees working on local and international projects.
