Join KPMG’s *Tech Program* in Madrid within the *OT Security* team, where we contribute to protecting industrial networks, SCADA systems, and critical equipment against increasingly sophisticated attacks. We are looking for undergraduate engineering students—industrial, computer science, or related fields—with an interest in security applied to industrial technology and OT networks. **When and how will the selection process take place?** The process will be conducted in person in early **July 2026**. We seek students who will begin their final year of undergraduate or master’s studies in September and who wish to develop professionally in this area. **What kind of projects will you participate in?** You will participate in hands-on industrial cybersecurity activities such as: OT risk analysis and vulnerability identification in ICS environments. Supporting industrial network hardening and segmentation projects (ISA/IEC 62443, Purdue Model). Basic monitoring of events and alerts from OT/ICS monitoring platforms (OT IDS, industrial SIEM). Industrial asset evaluation (PLC, RTU, HMI, SCADA) and configuration analysis. Preparing technical reports and documentation for clients in the industrial, energy, transportation, or manufacturing sectors. **What will you do?** * **In OT Operations**: Review basic alerts from OT/ICS sensors (industrial IDS, OT network anomalies). Classify and document events following specific OT playbooks. Support incident investigations on segregated networks under senior analysts’ supervision. Contribute to identifying anomalous patterns in industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, S7, OPC…). Collaborate on recommended hardening or segmentation tasks (where applicable and under supervision). * **In OT Analysis and Assessment**: Participate in basic OT security assessments: architecture analysis, asset inventory, PLC/HMI/SCADA configuration reviews. Support development of OT network maps and topologies based on the Purdue Model. Conduct technical OSINT searches to enrich OT threat analysis. * **In Team and Learning**: Participate in internal trainings on ICS/SCADA, Purdue Model, ISA/IEC 62443, OT protocols, etc. Attend team dailies and knowledge-transfer sessions. Learn to use industry-specific OT tools: Nozomi, Claroty, Dragos, or similar platforms. Protocol analysis tools (Wireshark with industrial decoders). **What are we looking for?** * Students pursuing degrees in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines. * Genuine interest in industrial cybersecurity and OT technologies. * Basic knowledge of networks, systems, and security concepts. * Desirable: familiarity with industrial protocols, automation, and control. * Analytical mindset, strong documentation skills, and good written/oral communication. * Advanced English proficiency. * Availability to sign an internship agreement starting October 2026\. * Enthusiasm to learn and grow within a highly specialized environment. **What do we offer?** Internships on real client projects in the industrial and critical sectors.
