**Shift Engineering Leader – Respiratory Operations** We are seeking a **Shift Engineering Leader** for the **Respiratory Operations** area, focused on **corrective and preventive maintenance** of facilities and production lines. A degree in **Engineering** (preferably **Electronics/Automation**) or a **Higher Technical Vocational Training Cycle** with **solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry** is required. Reporting to the **Area Leader**, the selected candidate will join a **high-performing team**, with the primary mission of **managing maintenance teams** and **leading improvements** across **Respiratory Manufacturing and Packaging lines**, ensuring maximum **equipment availability, reliability, and GMP compliance**. This is a **permanent position**. ### **Key Responsibilities** Lead, coordinate and develop the * **maintenance teams** (corrective, preventive and predictive) under their responsibility, ensuring proper resource allocation and intervention prioritization. Plan and optimize the * **maintenance teams’ schedules and shifts**, enabling optimal service delivery to **Respiratory production lines and equipment**. Implement and reinforce * **preventive and predictive maintenance programs** for facilities and equipment (HVAC, dust collection, purified water, ethanol, propellant, compressed air, steam, automated warehouses, AGVs, etc.), improving **efficiency**, **OEE** of the lines and reducing **equipment failure rate (FR)**. Collaborate closely with the * **FLLs of Production, Respiratory Manufacturing and Packaging (Aerosols and Liquids), and Zone T**, reducing **deviations** and ensuring **Compliance/Data Integrity**. Lead **continuous improvement initiatives**, identifying, prioritizing and executing **improvement cycles** (Performance Management, Problem Solving/DMAIC), proposing innovative solutions and applying **Industry 4\.0 technologies** aimed at operational excellence. Develop and efficiently maintain a * **structured preventive/predictive maintenance program**, anticipating potential failures and ensuring **equipment reliability**. Support and lead **investigations of deviations** occurring in the area, defining and implementing **corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)** to prevent recurrence of critical, major or repetitive deviations. Actively participate in the pre- * **installation and qualification phases of new equipment** in the area (review of URS, FAT/SAT, PQ, etc.), ensuring maintainability and integration into maintenance plans. Plan **preventive maintenance activities for Respiratory facilities and lines**, coordinating necessary shutdowns and **minimizing production impact**. Lead the **weekly efficiency tracking process for lines** across various **TPM activities** in the area, analyzing results and proposing improvement plans. ### **Requirements** Engineering degree (preferably Electronics/Automation) or Higher Technical Vocational Training qualification in a technical field (mechatronics, automation, industrial maintenance or related disciplines), with solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry.* Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).* Solid experience in the pharmaceutical sector within maintenance/engineering functions.* Extensive and proven knowledge of GMP in the pharmaceutical industry.* Prior experience in continuous improvement, Performance Management and Problem Solving/DMAIC methodologies.* Knowledge and proficiency in SAP (Maintenance/Asset Management modules).* English language level B2\. * ### **Desirable** Previous experience in * **leading and developing maintenance teams**. * **Negotiation skills**, influence and stakeholder management in multidisciplinary environments.
