**FURNACE OPERATOR** ======================= We are seeking to hire a **Furnace Operator** for our production plant in Cervo. The selected candidate will join the team responsible for one of the most iconic and artisanal phases of our production process: the firing and finishing of our iconic porcelain pieces. * ### **Location** Cervo (Lugo), Galicia * ### **Contract Type** Indefinite * ### **Salary** To be agreed **About Us** ------------------ Sargadelos is a porcelain company with over two centuries of history linked to art, design, and Galician culture. We combine artistic avant-garde with traditional manufacturing processes. **What We Offer** -------------------- * **Contract:** Job stability with an initial temporary contract and real prospects for continuity. * **Training:** Continuous learning sponsored by the company in specific high-quality porcelain firing techniques. * **Environment:** Integration into a historic, iconic Galician company with international projection. **What We Require** ------------------- **Main Responsibilities** * **Manual and mechanical loading/unloading** of pieces onto furnace carts. * **Programming and monitoring** of firing cycles (temperature, heating curves, and durations). * **Visual monitoring** of the process to ensure compliance with the brand’s quality standards. * **Classification and inspection** of pieces after the cooling process. * **Basic maintenance** and cleaning of the work area and firing facilities. **Requirements** * **Experience:** Prior experience in industrial environments, ceramic or glass factories, or positions requiring thermal process control is highly valued. * **Geographic availability:** Residence in the A Mariña Lucense region or ability to commute to the workplace in Cervo. * **Shift flexibility:** Mandatory availability to work **rotating shifts** (morning, afternoon, and/or night, depending on production needs). * **Skills:** Teamwork capability, meticulousness, attention to detail, and good physical condition for handling loads. ### **Follow Us on LinkedIn!** ### **Share This Job Posting**
