We are currently seeking to hire a passionate Chef for haute cuisine—experienced, technically skilled, and creative—who wishes to join our top-tier culinary team. We value professionals experienced in these cuisines, capable of delivering creativity, technical proficiency, and excellence in every dish. **Position Objective:** The Chef will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving high-quality food in compliance with the hotel’s gastronomic and sanitary standards. They must ensure an exceptional culinary experience for guests, consistent with a 4-star hotel operating to 5-star quality standards and offering a diverse gastronomic portfolio. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare and cook food according to established menus and the chef’s specifications. * Ensure correct presentation, temperature, and plating of each dish. * Collaborate in rotating across the hotel’s various outlets as required by operational needs. * Monitor and control the freshness and quality of ingredients. * Maintain a clean workspace in full compliance with sanitary regulations (HACCP or equivalent). * Support menu development, dish testing, and daily specials. * Supervise and guide auxiliary staff when necessary. * Apply best practices for efficient resource use and waste reduction. * Adhere to scheduled timelines across all services (breakfast, lunch, dinner, events, etc.). * Participate in inventory management and stock control of supplies. * Report any anomalies or malfunctions in kitchen equipment. * Ensure compliance with food hygiene, handling, and storage protocols. **Position Requirements:** **Academic Qualifications:** * Technical qualification in Gastronomy, Culinary Arts, or related field (preferred). * Food Handling Certification (mandatory). * Courses in international cuisine, food safety, or similar (preferred). **Work Experience:** * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chef in 4- or 5-star hotels or high-end restaurants. * Experience in at least two of the following culinary styles: Asian, Mediterranean, and Spanish (highly valued). * Experience working in kitchens with multiple outlets and variable production volumes. * Experience in à la carte cooking and events is a plus. **Skills and Competencies:** * Passion for cooking and quality. * Creativity and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. * Organization, cleanliness, and speed. * Commitment, responsibility, and punctuality. * Strong communication skills and service-oriented attitude. **Position Conditions:** * **Schedule:** Rotating shifts (including weekends and holidays). * **Salary:** As per collective agreement. **Why Join Us?** Join a professional culinary team at one of the city’s most renowned hotels.
