While developing professional competencies essential for their future careers, interns participate in major projects across electricity generation, distribution, and sales.
**About the Department**
The Business Development area (BD Iberia) drives the development of new wind, photovoltaic, and battery storage projects in Spain and Portugal. Its activities include identifying business opportunities, analyzing potential sites, processing permits, and supporting project evaluations for decision-making bodies. During the internship, the student will gain first-hand insight into how strategic renewable energy projects are planned and developed within an international context.
**Training Objectives**
During the internship program, the student will have the opportunity to:
* Learn how renewable energy development projects are planned, monitored, and optimized.
* Collaborate in the analysis and organization of information related to departmental projects.
* Become familiar with monitoring and control tools by participating in the development of an application designed for managing land lease contracts.
* Understand the planning process for the 2027–2029 Business Plan and grasp its significance in decision-making.
* Participate in market situation analyses for various regions, particularly the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, and Portugal.
* Apply economic-financial knowledge and digital tools in a corporate environment, always supported by the team.
**Mentoring and Follow-up**
The selected candidate will receive continuous guidance from a specialized mentor who will set learning objectives, conduct periodic progress reviews during the internship, and provide ongoing feedback to support the development of technical and professional competencies.
**Profile**
We seek students pursuing a **Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, Business Studies, or related degrees in the Economic-Financial field**.
Preferred qualifications include:
* English proficiency level B2.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Interest in using Artificial Intelligence tools to support work.
* Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively.
