Job Summary:
A social worker to assess and provide ongoing social support to users, manage social assistance, collaborate multidisciplinarily, and facilitate activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identification of family, economic, and support needs.
2. Development of individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
3. Promotion of personal autonomy and active ageing.
Social worker position in Málaga. Duties include assessing and providing ongoing social follow-up for users from admission onward, identifying family, economic, and support needs. Social reports are prepared and updated; integration and participation in center life are encouraged; and personal autonomy is promoted. Families are supported by informing them about center operations and acting as a liaison between the residence and family members.
Social assistance, benefits, and resources—as well as documentation related to dependency—are managed. The candidate collaborates with the multidisciplinary team (nursing, medicine, psychology, etc.) to develop individualized care plans. Furthermore, activities fostering participation and social interaction are facilitated; active ageing programs are promoted; and the dignity and rights of older adults are safeguarded, including detection of potential abuse situations.
The employment contract is indefinite, part-time (4 hours daily, from 10:00 to 14:00\), with a monthly salary of 950 euros.
