Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to manage projects, perform analytical and FEM technical calculations, and design bearings, while participating in continuous improvement and resolution of non-conformities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project management and analytical and FEM technical calculations. 2. CAD mechanical design applied to bearings. 3. Participation in resolving non-conformities and improvement actions. Through our P\&PD Engineering division (ATS Global), we are managing the recruitment process for a Mechanical Engineer on behalf of one of our clients — a world-leading and reference company in the design and manufacturing of slewing bearings, located in Azkoitia. The selected candidate will carry out the following responsibilities: * Performing analytical technical calculations and project management. * Performing FEM technical calculations (ANSYS). * CAD mechanical design applied to bearings. * Ensuring compliance with customer specifications. * Monitoring and updating applicable regulations. * Participating in cross-functional teams formed to resolve non-conformities and implement corrective or improvement actions. * Attending daily production and planning meetings. A permanent position with potential transition to the client's permanent staff. * Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. * Work mode: On-site, with possibility of partial remote work. * Technical or university degree in Engineering. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar engineering roles within metallurgical sector companies. * Languages: English and/or Basque (no official certification required). * Knowledge of ANSYS and FEM simulation. * Proficiency in SolidWorks and DriveWorks. * Familiarity with environmental aspects inherent to production and occupational hazards related to the position. * Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team.
